Jesse Metcalfe is an American actor starring in several successful movies. He began starring in television shows and eventually made his way to the big screen. His first film was titled “44-Minutes: the North Hollywood Shoot-Out” which was a made for television film. Next, he starred as the main character in “John Tucker Must Die” in 2006 which won him instant popularity and multiple other film possibilities. During that same year, he played the main role in the film “Loaded.”

In 2008, Jesse Metcalf played Jack in the horror movie “Insanitariam.” The film itself received mixed reviews and was only released on a limited basis and was released to DVD in the summer of 2008. After “Insanitariam,” Metcalfe played Granger Woodruff in the movie “The Other End of the Line”. This movie was based off of an Indian call-center employee. This employee later travels to California to meet the man she fell in love with over the phone at her job. This film never released in major theaters but did release to DVD .

In 2009, Metcalfe starred with Michael Douglas in the remake of the 1956 film “Beyond a Reasonable Doubt.” This film was released in September of 2009 but unfortunately suffered a great deal of negative reviews. Currently, Metcalfe is starring in the horror film titled “The Tortured” which was set to be released in 2009 but has since been pushed back to an unspecified 2010 date.
